Qing Ye Hsu (Grace)
Qing Ye Hsu (Grace), is a Founder and Managing Partner for Universal Collegiate Alliance (UCA), She is responsible for managing the operations and providing the strategic direction of UCA.
Grace also serves as CFO of HSAC Company, parent company of HotSauce Technologies and CommerceNxt. Through its umbrella companies, HSAC provides 1) credit card processing clearinghouse platform and 2) various management and automation systems for multiple verticals, including hospitality, retail, fashion, and legal. Prior to HotSauce, Grace worked at Gibson Dental Designs, one of the largest dental labs in the US, where she spearheaded the setup and daily management of its China operations. She is currently still a shareholder and serving as a board member of the company.
On the community services side, Grace is currently the Treasurer of the Hsu Family Foundation, where she pursues her passion for serving the community, along with her husband and their family.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999, Grace also received her MBA from Emory University, where she graduated #1 in her class. Prior to coming to the US, she received her BA from Southwest University of Finance and Economics in China.
Dr. James A. Walters
Dr. Walters is a Founder and Chairman of the Board for Universal Collegiate Alliance (UCA), He is responsible for providing the vision and guiding the growth of UCA.
Mr. Walters is the President and CEO of Walters Management Company, Gainesville, Georgia, which provides oversight and management for over 110 consumer finance companies located in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. In addition, Mr. Walters is the Chairman of the Georgia Ports Authority Board; a former Director of First National Bank of Gainesville and its holding company, First National Bancorp.
Walters continued to serve as an Advisory Board Member to Regions Bank of Gainesville. Mr. Walters also served as Chairman of the Board of Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia. Mr. Walters is past Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources where he served for over 10 years. He also sits on the Boards of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation, Elachee Nature Science Center and the Texas Consumer Finance Association. He is Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Brenau University and is on the President’s Advisory Committee of North Georgia University. Mr. Walters is a former board member of the United Way and American Financial Services Association. In addition, he is active with the Boys and Girls Club, Y.M.C.A, Junior Achievement and the Rotary Club of Gainesville.
