The Universal Collegiate Alliances (UCA) is a United States-based company that provides consultation services with a focus on the cooperation of joint higher education programs in the U.S. and China. UCA is directed by entrepreneurs who have a sustained history of promoting and enhancing the principles of higher education in the U.S. and abroad.
To help supply an ever-increasing demand in the Chinese market for students to study abroad, UCA will utilize resources such as the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) and the U.S. National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) to facilitate and support direct connections between the universities and colleges in the United States and China. UCA will endeavor to create a formal, reliable, reassuring, and safe channel for Chinese students to study abroad in the United States.
Having successfully matched U.S. institutions of higher education with contacts in the Chinese provinces of Anhui, Hunan, Shandong, and Sichuan, UCA promotes a 2+2 undergraduate collaborative degree program between partnering Chinese and American universities. A qualified program must be registered with the Department of Education in China, and all candidates must take the national college entrance examination. Admitted students study for the first two years in the Chinese institution and the last two years in the American institution. Once completing all required courses, the student will receive degrees from both the Chinese and U.S. schools of higher education. UCA will assist every step of the way from developing a liaison between senior American and Chinese university officials, acquiring government approval, to student counseling and enrollment retention services.
